The National OHS Strategy 2002-2012vprovides the framework for collective efforts to improve Australia's work health and safety

1. Description of Hazard:

There is sufficient space for each person to work safely. The H Block art room is very cluttered. In the back where we have to collect our work the space is small and hard to manoeuvre around.

2. Risk Score: 5

3. Immediate actions that can be taken:

The space will need to be cleaned.

4. Further Recommendations for Rectification:

Some of the items in the back such as the cabinets can be moved to make space.

Hazard 2 Details:

1. Description of Hazard:
Safety rules and evacuation routes are prominently displayed. Some of the signs are are a

bit worn and the words are small.
  2. Risk Score: 6
3. Immediate actions that can be taken:

Change the signs and make them bigger.
4. Further Recommendations for Rectification:
None.

Hazard 3 Details:

1. Description of Hazard:
Floor surfaces are maintained in a safe condition however; some of the corners in the
art room carpet come up and snag the whiteboard and shoes when you walk past. 

2. Risk Score:4

Fixing the carpet

4. Further Recommendations for Rectification:
Until the carpet can be fixed place hazard signs or a mat over the turned up carpet.
